If you are looking to take your young ones on some bumper cars and maybe even the merry go round, you won’t be starved for choice, and if the older kids want to have a heart-pounding, adrenaline filled racing experience, this park offers many of them as well. If you are going to be in the southern part of Texas then no worries because they have the Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This park offers many of the same rides you would expect from other six flag park but the San Antonio Park also offer some rides offered exclusively in the San Antonio park like the Boomerang and the Goliath. Maybe you are interested in seeing some real Authentic Texas Cowboy Style Fun
If you are looking to see some of the biggest and most popular rodeos in Texas, then you want to come to the Fort Worth area in the early months of the year. These rodeos show are the perfect example of Texas’s 3 R’s ropin’, ridin’ and rodeoin’. These events were originally used for the ranch boss to test the skills of his employees. Now they are used to entertain folks from all over. Rodeos have become so popular some of the events can even be watched around the globe on Television on channels like ESPN.

Maybe for you it is not about watching the Rodeo, its about being the Cowboy. If this is the case you have to check out a dude ranch. You can learn to rope a cow and ride with the herd. Maybe while you are at the rodeo or the dude ranch the ladies would like to do a day of shopping at one of Texas’s super malls and outlet centers. Shopping in Texas offers you all the same name brands as in NYC or LA, plus the many Texas-themed shops offering great gifts to take home for friends and family. Texas is well known for having some of the bigger shopping areas in the country, even the world.
Spend a Day at the Beach
With over 600 miles of finely groomed beaches in the sunny Gulf of Mexico, Texas has some of the nicest beaches anywhere in the United States. Surprised? Not only are the beaches groomed and cleaned on a daily basis they are also manned with life guards 7 days a week 365 days a year. If the kids are not into swimming or catching some rays, they can play in one of the playgrounds on the beach. If you get hungry and did not pack a picnic there is nothing to worry about food stands are available with all your favorite foods and snacks. A beach day in Texas is a great day.

With all the different terrain and beautiful weather that Texas has to offer many people enjoy camping out under the stars. If camping is not your thing then Texas also offers many fine and inexpensive Motels as well as many 5 star hotels and a wide variety in between.
